Your Membership Makes a Difference

Good conservation happens because
of you!

Your membership support has the direct effect to:

  • Preserve and protect over 300 acres of open space in Farmington
  • Provide a natural laboratory on our parcels for environmental science students from CCSU, Miss Porters, and Farmington Schools.
  • Provide stewardship of 67 properties
  • Offer educational and recreational programs each month throughout the year: wildflower walks, bear seminar, raptor demonstration, and innumerable guided hikes on land trust parcels
  • Keep you informed of land conservation successes and challenges through our newsletters and communications.

The Farmington Land Trust is able to offer these activities and programs at no charge thanks to membership contributions from generous area residents. These donations also fund stewardship of our properties, our newsletter, advocacy for open space, our office and executive director. The FLT is a not-for-profit 501c(3) organization funded through donations from generous area residents.

Membership is based on the calendar year.

All membership donations are very much appreciated!
